About Us
The journey began in 2016 when Vanessa Venter and Mariëtte van Rooyen started teaching Early Childhood Development classes. Mariette had a long-term dream of establishing a full Theatre School.
In February 2022, that dream received specific direction through a prophetic word about a new song arising from her work. Vanessa Venter’s path soon after, aligned perfectly with this vision through a prophetic dream about producing music.
Their combined calling led to the formal establishment of El Risha on July 14th, 2022.
The studio stands today as a testament to this foundational belief: that art and creative expression are powerful tools for unlocking destiny.
Who is El Risha?
The name El Risha means beautiful feather. True worship under the protection of God.
El Risha represents a studio of the arts that forms a stronghold and provides a platform to extensively teach, righteously impart, and fully cultivate the ability of artistic expressions through creative hubs.
We exist to ensure that the chorus of the next generation can arise with a new song—one rooted in purpose, creativity, and excellence.
